P R O D U C T I O N // A R T

Very sorry for the long delay in posts: its been a very busy few months. Here's some of the stuff I've worked on for my film "Wanderer".
a more realized version of the character, but still not there yet

exploring options in terms of costuming and color schemes

scans of storyboard (although this has since been changed)

more storyboard

some concept art for the environment
more environment concept art, original gouache painting

hand painted ferns, plants, rocks and trees later to be put together in after effects

One of the great benefits (and also drawbacks) to having more time to work on a film is that it can become a bigger project than you had originally anticipated. I'm going to start occupying my time with other little tests, including some one week animation shorts as well as illustrations, just to take a step back from the whole thing for a moment. I've also started an internship at Nickelodeon Animation Studios in Burbank this summer, which I'm still trying to figure out how I managed to get into.

Anyways, I'm hoping this blog will start to get a little more use: allow it to become part of my practice as an artist, to try and write out my ideas and thoughts about what I've been working on. Till then, stay classy!
